FAQs

What is a preorder?
A preorder is a process allowing customers to order a book before it is even printed. It's a good way for artists to pay for a part of production costs, and a good way for customers to be sure they will get the last limited edition from their favorite artist! The little downside is that shipping is longer than a usual order because the customer have to wait after the book is printed and delivered to our office before getting it to his doorstep!

My order is taking much more time to arrive than when I order from Amazon!
Unfortunately, we can't ship as fast as Amazon or big online bookstores.  Our company is based in Canada, and in order to get affordable shipping costs, we are shipping everything throughout USPS (even Canadian orders). That means we have to make trips to the border in order to send out the packages. For a regular order, expect to wait two weeks before getting your package. For every preorders, sketch and signed editions, we are unfortunately not able to give a fix shipping delay.

I already had to wait very long after my order, even for a regular edition, and I'm not sure I want to reorder...
We understand that frustration and it is the main reason behind this new website. Werehouse do not only have a new branding and look; it also have a brand new process including powerful shipping tools such as the Ordoro software, allowing us to manage our inventory, print multiple shipping labels and inform our customers of the shipping process in real-time. If you had shipping issues with us in the past, email us and we will give you a discount code on your first purchase on the new site!

Why some book titles and/or description are in French?
Because we are also publishing books in French! Some of our resident artists come from Quebec and France. For exemple, the original versions of Far Out and Dominique are published indeed in la langue de Molière!
